Action Movie Weekend /w BBQ

Caught two movies this weekend since it was 4 days and two of them were just me running around on the bus.

I dig it though with my headphones and just getting driven around by the driver. It does get a little crowded somedays but its better than nothing.

So I saw two pretty violent movies that are not for the faint of heart.

It was like ”Revenge Weekend” for films. Death Sentence was like Death Wish back in the Charles Bronson days with some pretty crazy butt kicking or killing. Kevin Bacon was great in it but the plot was kind of impossible.

Then the movie  War was with an action star Duo. Jet Li and Jason Statham whom I like when it comes to action movies. I went to both of these movies with low expectations and had an exciting time. Well worth my money but not everyone likes these types of movies.

Then on Sat and Sun it was free BBQ at one of the Casinos with Dragonfly and
just visiting with various folks. It was a nice 4 days.

Labor Day Weekend.

Nice day. Off of work by 1:00 PM and my Labor Day weekend has begun. Not anything really cool till Monday but its a 4 day weekend. Hope a decent movie is out this weekend. I went to see Superbad and it was a bomb. It looked funny and I must say that McLuvin was great but the rest of it sucked.

This isn’t so bad.

I’m starting to get use to this blog. All the widgets for the sidebar are configurable and I’m still playing around with it. I’m about to crash for the night though.

This should work for now.

Its kind of nice having this free site now. Hard day at work but it is the best workout I get all week. Tried importing my old wordpress xml file into another WordPress blog with IE but it didn’t work either. For some reason it just doesn’t like my 4 years of posts. Its all water under the bridge and not much to miss really. I even burn my paper journal after so long. I read over then and then say goodbye to the past.
